From e‐mail to Social Networks, through Search Engine Optimization.

It's been a long time since the first Internet users began to use different technologies to interact and promote their services or products over the internet. Some of them still use email as the basis for communications, other, guided by fashion, have begun using social technologies to communicate. Meanwhile, search engines remain the foundation upon which rests the flow of communication on the internet, being google, the engine most used around the world. In this paper we examine the evolution of different technologies, their impact on our society and the privacy issues, one of the main problems to solve in the XXI century, the question continues being: open vs. private.
